Chinese Cooking Last Lesson

A busy last evening with head chef Lucy getting us to cook up 3 tasty dishes - chicken and mushroom soup and what the untrained eye would call two identical spicy lamb dishes- only joking! the lamb curry with the five spices was particularly tasty. lucy also bought in a special chinese defrost chocolate cake! Despite all the joking we were all sad it had come to an end and thought Lucy an inspiring fun and practical teacher.

Shrewsbury Sex Machines did their best but were outplayed and ended up 4th from 5.

Beg Tets, johns team from glasgow held on to their title and clinched the interjojito trophy. very enjoyable afternoon in the sun and we learned a lot. the pizza hut meal in grainger street generously windowed restaurant was the cheese icing on the fiveaside cake. this was washed down with a wetherspoons drinking session til we were kicked out.

Welshpool Cycle

Weekend cycle to Welshpool along N81 was a 30 mile sunny funny challenge

stopped unexpectedly at friends for earl grey and on via melverly craft centre, the royal oak, steep climbs at criggion and long mountain to the speedy luxury of a rapid descent 4 miles out. Popped into Powis Castle for a gander and ice cream before gettin train back. Next day up hope bowdler and caradoc hills dehydratedly. Fitter and tireder :-)
